We also hold pop-up shows and slam tournaments at a variety of venues including Radio Room, Artistry, and Swanson's Warehouse.

Interested in featuring? Please be sure to include your slam team affiliations and slam accolades with your email of interest. We are a poetry slam focused venue, so we focus on featuring slam poets. witsendpoetrysc Please attach a picture and copy your bio into the body of your email. We feature poets on the 2nd/4th Sundays. PLEASE NOTE: WE BOOK AT LEAST 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. We can not book features until we receive a bio. DO NOT EMAIL ABOUT WEB OR OTHER SERVICES OR YOU WILL BE INVOICED A $15 FEE TO SUPPORT OUR CHARITY.

The Poetry Slam Team

Congratulations to the 2023 Say What Slam Team: Slammaster Black Phoenix. Team Members: Dove Dupree, Azar, Marleyquinn, Jenice Pleasant, and Your Favorite Murse. Say What Greenville Slam Team is ranked 5th in the nation by the National Poetry Slam. The Greenville Slam Team won Southern Fried South East Regional Poetry Slam in 1998, and placed in the top four in 2015-2017.

2024 Team try outs will be in March. Open poetry slam fall dates: 10/22/23, 11/19/23, 12/17/23, 01/21/24, 02/18/24, Grand Slam 03/10/2024
